Renewal in prayer has to form a part of telling our 'Joyful Story' to our local communities and to the world. As our diocese gets ready to launch a year of pilgrimage, which itself is an exercise in prayer and faith renewal, we in Sts German and Saviour, prepare ourselves with once again spending time in prayer as part of the global prayer initiative that is They Kingdom Come. Last year (2018) our novena was based on two moments of prayer: 0630 in the morning at St Saviour's and 1830 in St German's. This year, we will encourage renewal in a later Holy Hour as well as increased focus on our daily celebration of Holy Eucharist. The flyer below contains more information about times and places during the novena of prayer: Friday 31 May to Saturday 8 June 2019. You can also visit the Thy Kingdom Come website for more information about this global prayer initiative. Please join us this week if you can. ![]()
