I Ffordd Tangnefedd - Starts this evening 26 January 2020 at 6:00pm. A new contemplative service that is especially open to those who struggle with traditional services. Services will begin with coffee at 6pm followed by a time of reflective prayer and then, hopefully, involve a visit to a local pub for fellowship. Tonight we will have Taize style prayer and next week a Labyrinth based contemplation.
Nightshelter - If you would like to help in any way please contact Fr Phelim. Please pray for our guests and helpers. Rota for February now available. Nightshelter finishes at the end of March. PCC - The next Parochial Church Council meeting is on Monday 10 Feb after the 6pm mass in the church. Book Group - Starts up in St German’s after mass on Monday 3 February (6:30pm). The next book will be on St John of the Cross ‘The Impact of God’ by Iain Matthew. This is open to everyone and is ideal for those wanting to explore further the spirituality of John of the Cross as well as a closer look at his life and trials. Foodbank - Current urgent items: Tinned Fruit, Long life fruit juice, UHT milk, Rice Pudding, Sponge Puddings. Tinned potatoes. Social Committee - A series of events has now been agreed. The next one will be on Sunday 9 February when we will have ‘Aperitif Sunday’ after mass. This one will be hosted by Richard Hill and offerings will go to his nominated charity. If you’d like to help or support Richard and his charity please let him know. Messy Church - The next Messy Church will be in St Saviour’s on 1 March at 4pm. Theme: St David of Wales.
