St Saviour's News - 28 April 2019 - Easter II

Spring Prize Draw - Please remember to return your raffle ticket counterfoils and moneys asap.  The draw takes place today after Mass.                 

Easter Course - begins tomorrow - During the season of Easter we will have a course (similar to a Lent course) in each Church - Mondays after the 6pm mass in St German’s and Tuesdays after the 10am Mass in St Saviour’s. It is called Faith Pictures and is about helping us share faith and gain confidence in doing so.  See details on our website. Open to all.                                   

Vestry Meeting - Our AGM will be this Tuesday 30 April at 7pm.  Nomination forms for membership of the PCC are available as are electoral roll forms. It is open to all and members of the electoral can serve on the PCC.                       

Flower Donations - thank you again to all who kindly donated flowers and money for the Altar of Repose in Holy Week and to gladden our Church for Easter.         

Water Aid - It is still not too late to return your Water Aid jars of change, preferably next Sunday.                                         

Messy Church - The next Messy Church is in St German’s on Sunday 12 May at 4pm.  Volunteers urgently needed.  We will soon post a list of activities for the next St Saviour’s MC which is on Pentecost Sunday 9th June.  Please see Fr Phelim for more details.                                         

Social Events: Coffee Morning for Christian Aid after mass on Sunday 19 May.  Donations of cakes will be needed. Sunday 30 June - Strawberry Tea at 3pm in aid of Church funds.
