St Saviour's News - 22 Nov 2020

Next Sunday - Reserve your seat at St Saviour’s mass via Liz on 07718018846.  Please adhere to posters and advice from sides people about keeping safe and adhering to social distance, face masks (compulsory) as well as hand hygiene.                   

Thank You - to Fr Chris Lee for presiding at short notice this week and last week.  Fr Phelim will be back in action on Tuesday when his 14 day NHS quarantine ends.                 

Weekday Services - No Monday evening service this week but others return to normal (see side panel for times).                                            

PCC Meeting - Our next PCC meeting is this Tuesday 24th at 7pm on zoom. We will consider updates on our Ministry Area plus Advent and Christmas services.                

​Christmas Card Display - We hope to have our display of cards (as last year).   Instead of sending individual cards why not consider our display which is kinder to the environment and supports our church.  Donations please to St Saviour’s.                

 Benediction and Vespers - next Sunday evening at 6pm in St Saviour’s. Our hope is to have an evening service each Sunday of Advent in either St Saviour’s or St German’s.            

Christmas Flowers - We’re considering having Christmas flowers as in previous years. Please speak to Gwyneth for more details.                              

Foodbank - Is now back to normal and many thanks to all our volunteers who sustain this ministry to the hungry of our city.  There is a box for food donations at the back for all those who’d like to support this crucial ministry.                         

Sanctuary Lamps - may be sponsored according to your own intention or dedication.           

Advent and Christmas - we hope as much as possible to maintain the usual services for the seasons of Advent and Christmas. A full list of Advent and Christmas services  will be available from next Sunday.
