Welcome - Welcome to Fr Rhys Jenkins who is presiding today. Thanks also to Natasha for preaching
Next Sunday - Reserve your seat at St Saviour’s mass via Liz on 07718918846. Weekday Services - No evening masses this week - morning masses on Tuesday and Wednesday will be as normal. Thanks in advance to Fr Chris Lee for covering these. Covid Risks Update -Our risk assessment states people must adhere to social distancing and so go straight to their chair and at the end of the service leave in an orderly manner. We know the cold weather makes it difficult yet it is only really outside that catch ups and some fellowship may be possible because of reduced chances of coronavirus spreading. Zoom Bingo - Many thanks to all who supported our recent zoom bingo on Shrove Tuesday. We hope to do it again in honour of St David, patron saint of Wales. We meet on zoom on Tuesday 2 March at 7pm. Please see Ross for details and prizes. We hope to play five games and all donations will go to charity. It lasts about an hour ross.pilliner18@stpadarns.ac.uk Lent Courses etc - With the growth of online worship and formation there are many Lent courses and retreats available for people to follow and pray. There are a list of these available to choose from on our website. We will follow our pattern from last year and explore an Easter Course or Book Group and hopefully restrictions will have been eased to allow us to do this in person by then. Ministry Area Open Meeting - The next open meeting on zoom is on Wednesday 3 March at 7pm and will involve members of all three areas of the South Cardiff MA (Splott, Butetown and Grangetown). This will be another chance to listen in to views and opinions from across the MA as well as setting out likely processes from here on in. If you’d like to be part of this please let us know and we’ll send you the link. Even if you are just curious and want to listen in you’d be more than welcome. Stations of the Cross - Are now available to be played during the season of Lent. Stations are available from St Saviour’s and also St German’s. Many thanks to Brian Williams for his recording of Cesar Franck’s ‘Stations’ for this recording. Faith QI - Next meets on St Patrick’s day 17 March at 7pm via zoom. Each evening we explore a different topic related to our faith and spirituality - sometimes prayer, sometimes philosophy, sometimes theology. At the heart of it is a desire to understand and deepen our own faith. Recently Departed - Irene Fawcett, Ivy Marshall RIP
