St German's News - 13 May 2018 - Easter VII

Thy Kingdom Come Novena - We will be joining in the world wide movement of prayer between 11-20 May (Ascension to Pentecost).  We hope to have a time of prayer in each of our Churches for 30 minutes each day (0630 in St Saviour’s and 1830 in St German’s).  We will follow the themes set out for this year’s novena.  Booklets now available for those who would rather pray at home at a time of their choosing as well as copies of prayer journals: pray as you can, not as you can’t!     

Parish Lunch today after mass, all are welcome.                              

PCC - Next meeting of the parochial church council will be on 14 May beginning with Mass at 6pm. At this meeting we will consider some review questions from Bishop June and confirming the officers of the PCC for the coming year. (NB - Novena Prayer will start at 5:30pm on Tuesday)                

Confirmation Classes - Next meets on Thurs 7 June at 6:20pm in St Saviour’s.  This is now for children and young people. For adult faith formation see Fr Phelim.

Rome and Montecassino Pilgrimage 3-7 December 2018 - If you’d like to go this trip or for more details please see Fr Phelim. It is open to everyone and pricing will be roughly the same as last year c. £260 which will include flight, excursion by coach/taxi to Subiaco and Montecasino, Rome travel card, Capitoline museum entry).  Pilgrims book their own accommodation separately.
