PCC Update - met recently and approved renovations to the hall toilets and to replace the boiler. An in-depth discussion was had on Covid safeguarding and our need to review current praxis. Finally, we agreed to ring fence some of the recent legacy for provision of toilets for the church. We thank God for the privilege and opportunity to be able to worship publicly.
Church Services and Covid - Many thanks for those who signed up to help supervise cleaning the church after our services (according to our risk assessment and legal compliance). We will need regular monitoring of this. Please note we are supposed to keep strict social distancing and so shouldn’t gather for chats in the church. Outside is much safer. Likewise, we have a one way system for entry and exit.
Faith QI - Returns on Wednesday 20 Jan at 7pm. This will be on zoom. Each evening we explore a different topic related to our faith and spirituality - sometimes prayer, sometimes philosophy, sometimes theology. At the heart of it is a desire to understand the faith we follow more and perhaps deepen our understanding through discussion.
Social Zoom - With the tier 4 lockdown rules in place (and likely to get more stringent) we are exploring ways to support our parish community life. For those interested in an online social gathering in January please contact Fr Phelim. We hope to launch this in January with a Zoom bingo. We are also looking for prizes to be donated (5 x games) and also suggestions as to which days or times people would like.
Tredegarville Primary School - If your child or you know of a child who would like to be considered for a place at Tredegarville Church in Wales Primary for Reception 2021 please contact the school or follow the link on our website homepage.
Recently Departed - Shirley Galea, John Frayne, Kathleen Cartlidge RIP
