It was great to see so many helping and welcoming our local visitors. Already, plans are being made for next year (Sponge the Vicar!). An amazing £560 was raised for the Church. Thank you all again.

Mass Setting - this week and during August we will revisit the Thomas setting of the mass. In the Autumn we will introduce a new setting: Liam Lawton’s Mass of the Celtic Saints. Welcome - To Brother John Deaney (De La Salle) who will speak at the end of mass today on his educational mission and work in the developing world. We will have a retiring collection to support this vital work. Next Sunday we welcome Fr Jesse. Funeral- Doreen Michael’s remains will be received into the Lady Chapel on Tuesday 10 July at 6pm and her service is on Wednesday 11th at 11:15 am followed by a wake in the hall.
